I knowwwwww.  I mean, rationally speaking, teeth. I need them, I want them, it’s long-term totally worth it. but to fork over $1200 to be in severe discomfort, knowing it would be something like $3K without insurance … ugh. Man, I really wish we had a single-payer system. 

And you’re totally right; I need to get some nutritious mushy foods either on the way or on the way back :/ I don’t think I have anything in the house. When I get home, I will sit myself on a couch, watch TV, read fic and generally be a bum. No work today.

I am currently without any insurance right now and a tooth in the back of my mouth that I had a root canal done on has now broken and needs work. I’ve been dreading going in because I know anything they do to it is going to be expensive as hell and I’m broke so they may not even do it… Seriously, single-payer would be great right now. x.x
